ReelsDownload operates under a strict privacy-first principle. When using our service:

• We never require user accounts, registrations, or passwords.
• We never ask for or access your Instagram account credentials.
• We never record, store, or sell personal identifying information (PII).

2. Processing of Public Media Links

When you submit an Instagram link to our downloader, our backend temporarily queries publicly accessible content directly from Instagram to extract media files for download. Media files downloaded by users are processed in transient memory or temporary storage and are permanently purged automatically within 15 minutes of download.

3. Server Logs & Analytics

Like standard web services, our servers may collect anonymous technical access logs (such as browser type, operating system, timestamp, and referring URL) solely for maintaining server reliability, monitoring DDoS attacks, and optimizing service performance. These logs contain no personal information and are cleared regularly.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

ReelsDownload does not use tracking cookies to build personal user profiles. We only use local session storage if necessary to remember UI preferences (such as your last selected download tab). You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without loss of functionality.

ReelsDownload is an independent web utility and is not affiliated, endorsed, or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or Facebook. Any trademarks or brand names mentioned are for identification and compatibility purposes only.
